Benefits went from bearable to terrible this year. Nepotism is in full effect - new managers/directors come in trash current state, hire their friends and family at much higher rates, promote them shortly afterward, while the rest of us keeping systems and projects running get nothing. In many cases, they have very limited skills and are only expected to check boxes. WORK-LIFE BALANCE is nonexistent. I've been told by several managers to work weekends regularly or to work through holidays. New director just told staff he has no problem with staff who wants to work 70+ hrs a week and in fact encourages it! Finally, management doesn't even take the time to say Hi or talk to employees. We have several leaders from out of town who visit bi-monthly, but don't even take the time to say Hi even once a year!

Leadership can sometimes focus on the larger products to the exclusion of the smaller products. Understandable to some degree but it can go to an extreme.
