Company in major post-merger transition and it's all in who you know as to whether you move up or are retained.

Pros

Very visionary CEO that will lead the company well but has to clean house of poor management first. The software products are respected in the industry and by hospitals and doctors. Pay and benefits were comparable to other software vendors of their size.

Cons

Poor training on the application for staff in the field and very much a sink or swim mentality after training; no mentoring of new staff post training; have to be in the right place right time or know the right person to move up; and very high turnover rate of new hires within first one to two years with the company because of poor training, support, and burnout.

You get to learn alot but it's a shame that the meaningful things you learn are usually picked up while under pressure.

Cons

Low pay, understaffed, overworked, unnecessary meetings and processes put in place for people who already can not complete their jobs without the wasteful processes and meetings
