Pros

If you give a valid reason, you can have a flexible schedule. Works for experience on a fast paced enviroment. Overtime pay for worked holidays (usually open, depending on project). Medical, 401K and other benefits offered.

Cons

Once a promotion was offered, there was nothing but more work/reponsabilities at at the same pay rate. Once notified that you'll be changing projects, it's a final decision. You are given the options to take on the new training, or put your 2 week in. Personally saw a co-worker notify a manager of putting their 2 weeks notification, and was escorted out of the building. If a promotion is what you are looking for, you will just have to be "friends" with management to be considered.

Pros

Set shift schedules. Paid training.

Cons

All you do is sit on your bottom all day. I worked there from 1999 to 2001 and then came back in 2013. Sadly they no longer offer any raises no matter how long you work there. Also, they still pay the same amount per hour that I was making in 2011. Horrible place to work.
