Pros
Unfortunately, there are no pros to working at Alta Resources.
Cons
First and foremost, Alta Resources does not protect employee data. Just this week, it was publicly announced that Alta had a data breach, and employees' data, including former employees, was stolen. Now everyone has to worry about their identities getting stolen. Also, the clients that outsource to Alta Resources for their customer service needs also take advantage of Alta employees. The client I worked for was extremely unprofessional and put me and the rest of our team in awkward positions where our morals were often compromised. I left the organization because I no longer could take the behavior I witnessed. Finally, this is not a company where someone can grow a career, especially if they have an interest in marketing, as the job titles do not match the job duties. A social media specialist or social media team leader is nothing more than an underpaid (severely underpaid) online customer service representative who responds to complaints on client pages. The pay is a joke, as they pay half of what the market value is for positions, which is why there is a lot of turnover.
