Pros

Startup vibe with an exciting and growing future. You always hear about "the good ole' days" when things were new in a company and there was so much to do and everyone jumped in with both hands and made it happen, this is Alto right now. Alto has a great culture with people that are actually people and care for one another. As the company grows each member of the team is shaping where Alto is going and everyone is working together.

Cons

This is a startup which means everything isn't perfectly laid out and not everything is setup in the way that a 20+ year old corporation is setup. There has to be some expectation that if you are asking a question that you might be the first one. For some this can be stressful, for others exciting. This is just the reality for a growing company.

* Good Healthcare with multiple options available (my perspective compared to past companies ) * Comparable benefits * Paid time off * Opportunity for growth * Drivers are employees! * Great engineering team dynamic * Engineering uses cutting edge technology (something that attracted me to the company) * 20% time - determine work-related project I want to work on like improving code documentation or increasing accessibility * Agile team structure * CTO encourages collaboration & provides a supportive dynamic

Cons

Overall I don't have many cons. The following are simply all I could come up with. With any startup, there are growing pains. Speaking from the engineering team perspective, I believe these are recognized and mitigated quite well. * Medical benefits didn't start on the 1st day of employment * Company-wide communication has room for improvement
