Very stressful workplace. There was a very heavy marketing push in the agency. New programs for therapy are marketing tools for increasing visits. Management bonuses require lots of patients and lots of visits. Therapists do the work and management gets the benefits. Continuous computer updates make it impossible to figure out what is required as far as documentation. Just when you think you finally have got it under control an new "enhancement" shows up and you are back to square one trying to learn new requirements or unlearn something you were told that was incorrect. Management is often clueless and employees are given the wrong instructions/wrong directions. The turnover is HUGE. And did I mention long long hours due to huge territories.

Oh, there are oh so many! Bill Borne, CEO had a vision and a mission which is a very noble one. However, somewhere along the line, his mission and vision got screwed up by the people that surround him. It looks and sounds so good on paper but it is not practiced. I do believe that most of the Clinicians and care providers DO actually live the mission but it is because they are good people--not because we have such a wonderful example in management. I have to say that being 50 years old, I have never worked for a company as poorly managed as this one. Most of upper management is very imcompetent--it seems that no one knows what they are doing or how to run a company. Turnover is extremely high-over 40% per year. I realize that there are some in the company who may be very happy--for now, that they have somehow been unaffected by the incompetence but it will come!
