Pros

Great travel benefits. Good health benefits. People there are safety conscious and well-trained. Diverting work environment-not like going to the same office everyday. Great discounts at other travel industry companies-cars, hotels, etc.

Cons

Labor-management relations have never been smooth. The airline is looking for any possible way to cut costs in a tough economic environment. Less staffing on planes, longer hours, less time off. AA hasn't hired flight attendants in ten years.

Pros

The Flight Benefits, Great Customer Service Skills, The Job Makes You Think On a Day to Day Basis, Management at the Immediate Level Seems to Care about Employees

Cons

The Hours, Working in a Seniority System, Knowing that No Matter How Hard I Worked and How Good at my Job I was that a Less Competent Person with More Seniority Would Get the Promotion or the Job Would be Filled Based on Quotas for Diversity
