Pros

Best benefits for sure. Buddy travel privileges for family and friends, excellent airline. Highly recommend. Love the people, culture and professionalism of all. A great group of crew members who work well together.

Cons

Being away from home on holidays. It's hard to hold holidays off if you are not senior. Also the commute in and out may be difficult during certain times of the year. Depending on if you live in the city where you are based, you may have to rent a crash-pad (flight attendant apartment).

Pros

Overall it´s a good environment to work and the travel benefits is a plus. The pay is OK.

Cons

Not many opportunities to grow professionally and the few they appear seems to be pre -arranged. Not good feedback after interviews. The seniority system to allocate schedules and vacations is very unfair.

Pros

There are some really good fellow employees working at AE.

Cons

Compensation and Benefits are very poor. Work/Life Balance is very difficult. Senior Management has trouble relating to employees. Culture and Values are in disarray.
