Pros

union protection, sometimes long breaks, decent coworkers, pay

Cons

management are usually younger than you are even if you're 23, they do not care at all about customers, they do not care at all about the employees, if a manager does care about the employees they'll fire them and replace them with someone who doesn't care and actually tries to cause disruption, they don't care about safety, they complain that you're not safe enough even when they put you in situations that are clearly unsafe, sanitation of any kind is almost laughable, work quarters are too congested, ramp space too congested, senior corporate company management Is a joke, never get profit sharing, always a long process to agree on a contract between the company and union for more pay

Pros

If you are a general developer without a niche, you have many teams and technologies to choose from.

Cons

Low salary, hard to grow (I was named tech lead 6 months ago but am still in the level 2 associate box because of the reorg I get all of the responsibilities and none of the benefits), leaders call you a "resource" to show how you can easily be replaced, tons of politics so be careful with what you say on slack or in passing for someone might hear and use it against you. Flying for free is great but since flights are so full and we have to be on office on the best flying days we can't benefit from them much.

Pros

Flight benefits that’s absolutely it.

Cons

New management is absolutely horrendous. Some of us have been doing this longer than you’ve been alive. They taken away so much that people with years of time just decided to leave. There’s no communication, flights are always late because of their dynamic manning, morale is the worst I’ve ever seen, and the treatment in this company is absolutely inhumane.
