Pros

This is a wonderful company. As far as life insurance products go, they have the best quality products at the most competitive prices in the industry and the underwriting is one of the more lenient in the industry as well. As far as compensation, this company has the best companions I have seen to date. Plus you can get extremely high bonuses every week as well. And the residuals are phenomenal. You can expect to retire comfortably within 10yrs of beginning there. The prizes that this agency gives out are amazing. From cash prizes (in the hundreds), Louboutins or Jordan's, big flat screen T.V.s to tickets to go watch football or baseball games. After working there for 3 months (Approx.) one is eligible for health insurance. Also, continued education in this field of expertise is something that is not lacking at this company. You can expect to pick anyone's brain and to sit in and participate at workshops to learn more about everything concerning this position. Management is extremely helpful and excited to do so! When I was an agent I had the best supporting managers ever. And what's more they will go out with you in the field if you're blanking and make sales for you so that you have a paycheck. You're paid every week so that you always have money. I was on Team Ferrari which is the best team one could be on.

Cons

I have to say that there were no downsides to working at AIL. It's a great place to work if you're looking for a career. But this is a job that you have to work hard at. As long as you work hard and smart than you can expect to be very successful very quickly. The only reason I left the company was because I got a position teaching at a university which is what my goal was from the get go.

Pros

Close to home and it is mainly highway. It was an office setting instead of manufacturing, warehouse, and/or kitchen setting.

Cons

I was asked to pay for training up front which I did not nor could I afford, $250 to $300.
