Thank you for your feedback and for your contributions to our team. This agent position does require a self-motivated, persistent, and sales-minded individual to succeed and isn't for everyone. With the right person, this career can be incredibly rewarding financially and professionally. We wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

-Extremely inclusive nature. -Opportunity to work from home or move up through the management process. -Ability to earn residual income. -Leads paid for by SGA on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. -Competition weeks often are associated with high value prize incentives.

Cons

-100% commission with no base salary. -Follows a typical multi-level marketing structure. -Interview process can be misleading and vague as far as how much commission the "average agent" will earn each year, as well as the level of awareness by the union/association members of their "benefits" through AIL. -Agents are taught to "focus on selling concepts" rather than going into detail as far as what type of coverage is being offered(ie. WL, Term, Accidental, ect.) -Leads tend to get over used and are not always up to date or accurate as far as basic info, how long ago they were last contacted or even if they have recently purchased a policy. -You are expected to work late nights and weekends if a general goal of $2,400 ALP is not met. -Time is mostly spent cold calling union & association members who often are unaware of the vague affiliation to AIL. -Show ratio of scheduled appointments is generally around 40-50%.

Thank you for your insightful feedback regarding your time with AIL. We're happy that you enjoyed the positive environment we encourage at AIL but disappointed it wasn't a good career fit for you long-term. The position does require a persistent, sales-minded individual and isn't for everyone. We appreciate your contribution to our team's success and wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Good money if you are great at basically cold calling and persuading them to get an insurance policy

Cons

no work life balance, you are required to work 6-7 days a week. Also no base pay nor salary so its full 100% commission.
