Pros
If you are a sales type person, then insurance sales is the job for you. You get the opportunity to increase your communication skills with diverse people and personalities. You have the option to make your own schedule to an extent. You have the opportunity to make a lot of money if you have what it takes to make the sale.
Cons
The fact that if you don't make a sale, then you don't get paid. You have to use your own money and car to drive to all the different places, sometimes more than an hour away. There is no guaranteed pay. The job was made out to be more than it turned out to be.
