you have to work to achieve, for some who are looking for a "get rich quick" or job where you have to be told every step of the way, it's probably not a good fit

Unprofessional training from managers that have no right teaching. A lack of patience and rush through what is probably the most important part of a developing agent's career do not help. The new agents are exploited and pushed all the while made to believe there will be a great reward. There will not be. Expect poor communication, avoidance of responsibility, long hours, harassing poor union members who seem to be bombarded by calls constantly, knocking on poor peoples doors with the promise of "No-Cost Benefits" and then trying to push products on them that they cannot afford. If you are smart, PLEASE heed my warning and STEER CLEAR!!! Try New York Life, Mutual of Omaha, Mass Mutual or any other reputable firm. Dig deep and make sure it is where you will want to work for your entire career. You will not have a career at AIL, but you will learn some hard lessons.
