Pros

Incredible opportunity to move up if you are willing to sacrifice a lot for a fairly short period of time, like a year. On your good weeks even just starting out you can bring home a $1500 paycheck or more. They also give you a set system to follow that is tried and true. Youre also working for a pretty awesome and honest company, especially once you begin to see how crappy other companies are. this does however always depend on the agent. be honest to your clients and put their needs before your wallet

Cons

The cons will differ based on what agency you are a part of. I work in the fort collins office under Rich Correa agency, and some of my cons are 1) very short notice sometimes of what is "required" of you, such as a meeting at the office. 2) this job dangles a carrot in front of you, if you REALLY want it you can have it, but the only way to make it there is by being the 1%... working an 80 work week, being able to learn VERY quickly, being able to really push under tremendous pressure some times

Pros

Absolutely no pros to working at this company. You're lied to from the second you receive a call for an "interview" to the day you finally decide you've had enough and quit. ANY positive review on this site is clearly from a current manager (probably instructed to do so) or someone someone who literally just started.

Cons

There are so many cons I do not know where to start... 100% commissioned based Self-employed but, REQUIRED to work 60-80 hours 7 days a week You literally lie to everyone about everything There insurance is sub-par and over priced Your "target market" is the scum of the earth (No job, aspirations, or future generational welfare people. Who do not care/cannot afford insurance You visit "potential customers" under false pretenses. Usually to give a free, completely useless child safety kit and then attempt to sell them insurance Daily required meetings on a variety of useless topics. Usually some poor attempt at "motivating" you to go out and rip people off Unpaid training Once they get everything they can out of you, they want you to quit. Once an employee quits any residuals or renewals are given to the SGA. So they literally want you to quit. Anyone is hired because a certain amount of "codes" are required for managers. You're then forced to train people who have no chance of ever successfully scamming people like you. All the while, you're sacrificing your time and money for someone you know will never make it. I could go on forever but, I'll stop here.

Pros

There is a lot of money to be made if the clients that cannot afford your policies do not cancel

Cons

Training is done by someone who has been with the company less than 3 months It is truly a pyramid scheme, all of your managers make money if you do Put over 7k miles on my car a month Paying $125 a week for phone room appointments that think we are just coming to have them sign some papers
