Okay so they tell you its all commission based, they don't pay the 2 week long training that they require. They promise you are going to make a bunch of money (which is a complete lie!) I consider to be a pretty smart, educated competitive employee. So these comments are not a reflection of my work but of this scheme. The benefits representative/ insurance agent is not about selling insurance. The people that work in this industry basically get poor people that don't know any better to go get the license (which you pay yourself) and then go to 2 weeks of training. Expect you to run around in other peoples cars (supposedly making sales that hardly happen) for a couple of weeks more after training (no pay) they want you to go to the office and call 100 old leads of people that don't even have money to feed their children in food cabinets at the house. I WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHY THIS ENTIRE JOB AND COMPANY IS A SCAM. ITS ABOUT GETTING PEOPLE TO SIGN UP AND GO THROUGH EXTENSIVE TRAINNING SO THE PERSON THAT REFERED YOU GETS A $250 BONUS FOR SIGNING YOU IN ONCE YOU MAKE A SALE. The heartless person that put me in this waste of my own money position. Never got a dollar because in the entire month in a half that I was at this company I never made one single dollar. The customers that you make appointments with, will literally shut the door in your face. I have no hard feelings towards anyone. The reason I am advising you to stay away is because I don't want you to have the terrible experience that I had. I remember the lady's at the office being worried about their rent, food and all this stuff. Because they didn't have anyone to sell insurance too (family members) and didn't have anyone to sign up for this scam. I felt bad for them and somehow thought my store would be different. I am telling you this is all to get a $250 sign in bonus for finding naïve other people to try to get this job.,. They are terrible and heartless, liars. If you are interested in insurance you will only be really able to use the license when its Medicaid and Medicare season (3 to 4 months a year) during Oct, Nov, Dec. I know what I am talking about now do as you like. If you want to waste your money, resources and time go ahead. you have been warned. I have a Bachelors in International business and I had this job during college. It was the worst most unprofessional experience I have ever had as far as supposed work. Not to mention that when they first hire you they ask you to post a good review on the first week. Can you believe that? So all these reviews are people who haven’t even worked there to even have a opinion. This company is juso dishonest it’s unbelievable
