Pros

We have become a "go-to" for some of our biggest clients, and are asked to deliver complex and challenging projects that allow for both personal and corporate growth. Efforts to improve quality of life for staff are being made (though the efforts don't always produce the intended outcomes) and different levels of management are being empowered to show appreciation to staff.

Cons

Complex and challenging projects are tough to deliver on tight time-frames. It takes some intentional effort to maintain work/life balance. It's a large (and growing) company that doesn't generally change courses quickly, but has maintained stability throughout the years.

Pros

As a 15+ year employee of American Structurepoint, I have watched the corporate culture evolve over time, and it just keeps getting better! We create an atmosphere of respect, where your coworkers are also your friends. We build close personal and professional relationships that allow us to accomplish our goals together as a team. Learning and growth is encouraged every day, and there are many opportunities for career growth. If you enjoy being actively involved with outside professional associations, or charitable organizations, American Structurepoint is the right fit for you. Professional association involvement is encouraged and reimbursed, and community service within the company is so active that we have a fully functioning Community Service Committee to plan events and allocate charitable giving. The company's goal truly is to improve the quality of life for our people and our communities.

Cons

Like many engineering and surveying companies in this day and age, American Structurepoint is not immune to the high pressure, and at times high stress, environment of quick deadlines and demanding clients.
