Despite the job being solid in terms of experience and exposure, this is unfortunately overshadowed by toxic office politics that are unavoidable and inhibit you from having an enjoyable work experience. The office has a very sterile and unwelcoming vibe overall and most people aren’t very friendly. They are very old fashioned in both mindset and attitudes. Despite having programs to invest in the growth of young and high-potential employees, HR doesn’t take actual complaints/concerns seriously (witnessed this several times from several people) and allows people who shouldn’t be managers to be managers. Not only do they not try to improve issues in leadership, but they continue to promote them and let them lead more people. There is a strong sense of favoritism at all times, and if you don’t alter your character to fit in, you will be retaliated against. Overall, I’ve never experienced the level of immaturity and malice from grown adults (both older and younger) like I did at this company and saw them unfairly stomp on the potential and spirit of others around me all the time.

Working with legal is the worst experience. They will tell you to do something to make things run smoother for you to go and do it, then you turn it in and guess what? They don’t review it because they are too busy. So you rush to do things to make their lives easier for no reason basically. They will approve things for certain people and you could send them the exact same thing and they forget it was approved - so inefficient for others seriously. Also not all managers are great, some really are bad yet they are called managers. Sometimes you have awesome days but other days you get overworked. This isnt the worst company but some departments really do need assistance.
