Pros

The training opportunities are endless. You can advance at your own pace and in the technical or management arena of your choice. It's a very collaborative environment and the staff friendly and good to work with. It seems like there are about 20 people who have been there more than 5 years so you have a great knowledge base of folks when you need help. The culture is good. There are quarterly events, regular communication from management, recognition, advancement/promotions, etc. The benefits are good and the company pays for most.

Cons

As with any IT position, sometimes it feels like a 24 X 7 job. The good news is that they are very good about giving time off to help out especially when there's big projects that keep you after hours and on weekends. No 401k match.

Pros

New office space Free sodas/coffee Decent office location Most people in the office are friendly to your face

Cons

- Lack of documentation and process for almost every department. - Not enough staff to do the last minute work coming in. - No one knows who is doing what or what departments do what. - Benefits are poor at best. - Even though the company website states, "we listen. were accountable", it seems most managers do not listen to the employees and do not hold employees accountable.

Pros

. Fast paced - if you are motivated, you can really accelerate your skills and grow. . Responsibility - you get responsibility if you are willing, to impact the project outcomes. . Direct client communication - if you are capable, you can directly communicate with clients. If you like customer interaction and come from a mid-sized or large corp, you'll know that this is a rare thing. It can be motivating to see your contributions are directly visible to clients. . Flexibility - management is flexible about need-based remote working and time off. . Environment - if you take time to get to know your co-workers, most are genuinely good people. Many employees have been with the company for years. If you have multiple technical skills to stay billable then you will like this place.

Cons

All of the above are also cons if you come from a slow paced, large corporation or if you're expecting to just sit around, particularly in any of the consulting positions.
