Typical Corporate benefits, nice people, nice view. hybrid work is nice.

It's really tough to move up here. They usually hire based on nepotism first, then seniority, and maybe experience if you're lucky. I've seen this happen in different departments. It feels like the usual corporate stuff—more about what they have to do rather than what they want to do. It's hard to believe anything upper management says because it always seems so fake and forced. I'm pretty sure the C-suite, except for the CTO, is trying to outsource as much of IT as they can and they want to move the company to Indiana after NJ tax incentives expire. Why do you think they purchased an HQO sized building there? They seemed to be focused on checking boxes on DEI instead of getting employees tools, jobs, and resources they need. The equipment thats installed, while new, still doesnt even function correctly.
