      Waiting for it to be over at the end of day.

      Cons

      Surprise...it never ends because you're always OnCall 24/7/365. Not the same place I started at years ago. Current corporate and state leadership has gone woke and completely downhill, cowering to the DEI agenda and making it a toxic workplace. Not there to back up any management, but it's all about making themselves look good for the almighty stock dividends and investors. 0/10 would recommend.

      Benefits, hybrid work model, work/life balance

      Cons

      There have been major organizational changes within the past year and layoffs have happened to really committed employees. Recent changes have also been made without any follow up leaving employees scrambling. They have also automated almost everything possible taking all human connection out of the equation (example: of you have an issue, send issue to email bucket)

      Good 401k match Ok pay The HQ office is really nice

      Your work enjoyment will really depend on your manager. On the non-union side, there is a strong culture of working after hours, while on vacation, while you are sick, etc. Anything less is seen as negligent. There’s a lot of talk about “caring” but little support for that during work hours. So be sure to have any family deaths, mental health struggles, long COVID symptoms, etc on your own time.
