Pros

If you want to create an impact, you want to stand out for your work, you want to be independent and contribute to the business, you want to be part of building the business than these would be the pros • Amplitude is a really fast growing company, which means there all the processes are being formed. You win if you identify a problem area, bring the solution, implement and measure success. • Culture values are Growth, Ownership and Humility and at Amplitude we can see how strongly Amplteers stand for those values and they are favor by the company as well. • You never get bored, there is no repetitivness is work, it is up to you how you want to operate because it is a result driven work environment, everyone is a contributor • The team: you find friends, team mates and managers. In CS org all the managers stand for you, support and mentor you. This is really valuable as they help you grow and build your skillset • Tons of flexibility, which is a pro if you like to look for opportunities and build them. • If you want to contribute to the business and be rewarded - this is your place • If you want to sit tight 5 days a week, then it is not for you

Cons

• There is no structure for you to move up the ladder, because the company is growing and opportunities come as the business need evolves. Not quite a negative side but as is. You shouldn't expect a ready-made ladder just to fit you in the box like Enterprise orgs. • Sales org could be improved by hiring true leaders, not micro managers who has a high stuff turnover. • Younger and inexperiences team members need to be coached well, so their expectations are set right. They need to understand nobody is going to babysit them and tell where to go, but they have to explore themselves and show how they can contribute to the business
