Pros

Amplitude is filled with incredibly smart, friendly, open-minded people who are always willing to help a coworker out. I appreciate the genuine effort to improve workplace diversity and inclusion early on in the company's evolution. It's also great that management always expresses care towards employee happiness and health. -

Cons

The company's growing super fast so there's some chaos associated with that.

Pros

There is an incredible focus on good communication between engineers and building a stack that is stable and scalable. The co-founders (CEO and CTO) are also both ex-engineers so upper management is very in-sync with how the process goes. Excellent benefits (including meals, stocked kitchen, about 4 weeks PTO, and commute or close living stipends, plus $100 monthly wellness stipends), smart and diverse people, lots of company and team outings. Weekly all-hands meetings where the company is updated on achievements and revenue goals/progress. Everyone is friendly here, whether you're talking to people in sales or customer success or product. Hearts of gold.

Cons

Transparency here could be better.

Pros

Some of the most hardworking people I have ever met. I feel like everyone genuinely appreciates the work I do and I have never felt unwelcome in any situation. There is a lot of mutual respect, even across different teams and this is a job that I genuinely enjoy going to every morning.

Cons

You are required to put on a lot of hats because of the small company size (but this can also be a good thing because you are provided with the opportunity to go out and learn anything you want to).
