Challenging work that pushes positive learning. Good equipment, relatively.

Cons

Hours are crazy, on call 24/7, very little appreciation of any meaningful kind. Leadership is overruled by corporate always, the company doesn’t care about this office

The company doesn't care about their employee. They asked you to work overtime, stayed 24hr on-call which they would call you at 3am in the morning.

Good opportunities for overtime and some dining perks

Cons

Lack of cohesive organization and communication between retain and the lab, most of the time immediate management was up to their necks with clients complaining about getting results. Most of the time there is such a long backlog of samples that need to be run and retain doesn't help out. Instrumentation is dirty and maintenance takes at least several months to even address the issue. Management always has to lick the customer's boots regarding results.
