Fleet Manager and i were very compatible, this is a great company to work for as i loved hauling wind energy parts.

Pros

Specialized Hauling takes someone with some common sence as the responsibility to properly secure loads was always changing as the freight is uncommon or i should say specialized in a manner that takes thinking to ensure the freight arrives at the destination in good shape.

Cons

like any other truck driving job, being away from home for extended periods really stinks, but that is what it takes to suceede in the trucking industry.

In most positions at ATS, there is a great deal of variety in job duties and opportunity to interact with many departments and locations across the country, both client base and other ATS offices. Fellow employees are supportive and friendly. Competition is based on personal performance, not in comparison to others.

Cons

There is little room for advancement within the company. Innovation is not generally encouraged or rewarded. Pay rates are static with no built-in increases. No comp time for significant hours worked past normal business hours.
