Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your thoughts around work-life balance. We drive urgency in our business to ensure we’re remaining competitive in this evolving marketplace, which could feel overwhelming at times. However, we encourage employees to work directly with their managers to set expectations & prioritize goals so they can create a work schedule that allows them to make a strong impact at Angi while still focusing on priorities outside of work. We also offer a flexible paid time off policy with floating holidays so employees can take the time they need to recharge. We invest in our employees by holding weekly 1:1s and quarterly performance reviews to ensure there is a healthy feedback loop between employees & managers. This is to ensure individuals are still excited and empowered by the work they’re doing at Angi. We want everyone to be excited in their roles and encourage them to explore other areas if that is not the case. We're proud of our talented engineers and continue to invest in our teams in support of one of our values #All About Talent. Our engineering team drives exceptional ingenuity at Angi and continues to help us acheive our organizational goals.

bad

Pros

Team culture is great, lower level management is great

Cons

Upper management are so out of touch. Consistently making sweeping changes to the day-to-day of how sales does their jobs, seemingly without ever talking a single sales rep who could preemptively squash these terrible ideas. Take 3 months to implement positive changes, take 15 minutes to implement negative ones. Insultingly changed the comp plan to pay less then pitched it to us like it will be more. Ended up quitting after upper management decided certain sales are worth $0 commission. The product is bad and it feels unethical coercing blue collar workers into paying for something they can't afford that only ends up helping a small percentage of them. No room for career growth which is why they can't retain employees past a couple years.

Good place to start

Pros

Good sales training, supportive management, opportunities for upward management fairly early if successful, good place to get started without sales experience. You can also make a ton of money if you’re successful.

Cons

A grind. This job is hard you’re doing a lot of cold calling and don’t have the best reputation among the buyers of the product. Depending on your manager, they have a tendency to overwatch/work you.
