Company's a mess

Pros

I made good money for my position. Lots of overtime if you are wiling to work it. Just keep your focus on the check and you will make it through.

Cons

Downsides are messy. First, the turnover rate in management is ridiculous. You get a new manager every two years at most. Second, they don't really know how the company runs from a common sense perspective. Third, the supervisors they hire don't know jack either. It seems like the company doesn't commit to their managers and supervisors.

Pros

The people on my team were really nice and we all bonded over how bad the work environment was. I did learn some valuable skills in sales but it all came from trial and error on my own, no help from the company or any real training.

Cons

Such a high stress environment for a really low reward. Constant changing of sales goals and no real communication from management. By the time you thought you knew what you were working towards as far as sales goals, they would change it and you would be stuck scrambling at the last week of the month trying to figure out how to meet the new goals. Management was not organized and constantly blamed their failures in communicating on the sales reps and we were the ones to suffer for it. You were required to respond to stores requests even on the weekends because according to management, that was what made a happy store owner even if it took up your own time off. Forget about a 40 hour work week as well, they require you to be at your first stop at 6am, and to work until 4pm. So that means leaving your house around 5:30 to get to your first stop and not getting home until 5pm from your last stop. Honestly, I cried every single day doing this job and I have never been so stressed over a job in my life and it was all over seltzers and beer which is absolutely ridiculous. Management was also petty and definitely gossiped about other employees and their private lives which has to be illegal in some way or another.

Pros

You get assigned a lot of responsibility 401(k) match

Cons

Terrible culture, you’ll be doing the work of 2-3 people, a lot of focus on short-term financial decisions which often lead to long-term negative impact, poor work/life balance
