Pros

The modern Anheuser Busch (Inbev) preaches meritocracy and for the most part, its true. Those who work hard, get promoted and get rewarded. The company is not afraid to accelerate high performers and due to the size of the company and a decent amount of churn there are a lot of opportunities.

Cons

Micro management. The company is built on "Positive Friction" which ideally should challenge and only push forth the best ideas, but it really just results in everyone responding in knee jerk fashion to senior managements various and generally not cohesive opinions, which often change depending on how the wind is blowing.

Good place to start a career

Pros

Best thing about working for Hubert is the hours. You will have your days to yourself after you are done with work. You get to attend general meetings and company parties. You don't have to work too many weekends.

Cons

You will have to have to cover other stores on your route. That's once in a blue moon. Other than that. This is a great place to develop a career.

High turnover and managers that don't look out for their teams

Pros

Large global network, diverse opportunities for career changes and an emphasis on lateral movement, an exciting and fast paced industry.

Cons

The culture of ABI is all about the bottom line. There is extremely high turnover, and pressure is unadulterated from the CEO all the way down the commercial organization. Very few managers are willing to stick up for their employees, and the high turnover rate means few develop the skills they need to effectively manage a team.
