We’re glad to hear that you appreciate the stock options and the flexibility of working from anywhere. We strive to offer benefits that support our employees' professional and personal lives.
We are, however, concerned about the points you’ve raised regarding compensation, career progression, leadership, and company culture. Your feedback is crucial, and we take it very seriously. Here are a few steps we’re taking to address these concerns:
Compensation and Benefits: We consistently review our compensation packages to ensure they are competitive and reflect the responsibilities of each role. We also use best in class compensation data from Pave and Radford to assist us with this. We are also evaluating our benefits to better meet the needs of our employees.
Career Growth: We understand the importance of clear career paths and opportunities for advancement. We are working on developing more structured career development programs and mentorship opportunities to help our employees grow within the company.
Leadership and Expectations: Our leadership team is dedicated to setting realistic expectations and providing the support needed to meet them. We will continue to deliver leadership training sessions to enhance management skills and improve communication. We're delighted to add Rich Bessel as our SVP of Design, and Matt Curl, as our COO, which i hope you agree, will make our leadership team even stronger.
Company Culture: Building a strong, cohesive culture is a priority for us. While we enjoy discussing innovative product features, we recognize the need for more diverse and inclusive team-building activities. We've leant heavily into conducting regular physical team off-site, the feedback on which has been excellent, but we continue to explore how we can enhance offerings like this and make them even better.
