      Pros

      As a long-time team member who regularly interviews/hires job candidates, I am aware of the occasional bad review here on Glassdoor. What I appreciate most about Applied is our constant growth and improvement. For example, the company recently conducted a team member survey that asked a ton of questions, and new benefits/programs are already being offered as a direct result! It's not easy growing from a small company to a large/global one, but I truly believe that our management's heart is in the right place. True to any job anywhere, I have found that a little patience and openness can make the difference between a positive experience and a negative one.

      Cons

      While I haven't experienced it, I have heard that not all team members feel they can be completely open/honest with their team leaders. That's not unusual in large companies, but I would (and do) encourage anyone to go talk with TM Relations ... not to just complain but to get some really good advice on how to handle the situation and/or assistance in facilitating a better communication within your team. They're really good and nice and helpful!

      - young work force - chill vibe, at times

      Cons

      The incompetence of certain director is harming a side of the department and everyone knows it. Those who dare to speak up would get the hammer (the fact that favoritism is extremely prevalent doesn't help). Incredibly short-sighted and incapable of sensing the urgency of problems until it's too late and is costing huge dollars, and good employees, every month. Terrible example of leadership from the director and what's worse is the wide-eyed young people don't even know it.

      Pros

      Not micromanaged. Recruit great people. Not a churn and burn environment. Great for entry level med device reps or experienced reps looking to slow down.

      Cons

      Low pay, NO development, very limited access to information, no defined advancement track, expected to just figure it out. You receive comp plans for new year or new roles halfway thru your 1st Quarter in a position. Stay out of your managers hair and you won't be bothered as long as you can portray you know what you're doing.
