      Short term outlook

      Pros

      Not too bad a place for the short term. Managers apply pressure, but since they know little about the work, one learns to add buffers and they don't know the difference. Wages are average, so it is a good place to park while looking for another job.

      Cons

      Middle-level managers --- not just a few, all of them -- do not take their customer's long-term welfare of their employee's long-term welfare into consideration. They also seem to care overly about cozying up to their bosses than actually delivering results. As long as something looks good on paper, it is fine if the foundations are hollow. Meanwhile, the senior managers keep pushing down a new managerial fad every now and then. It would be funny if it weren't such a depletion of true enterprise value.

Our response from both our customers and our employees has been positive. Because of our customers’ willingness to provide feedback, we have been able to create a three year strategy that will help us continue to focus our investments that have will lead to industry and market expansion. Additionally, we have repeatedly solicited feedback from our employees, and have seen increased improvement in the level of Employee Engagement. From that feedback, we have launched a Leadership Enablement and Development Curriculum that offers education and training for our managers and leaders. These offerings are intentionally designed to help shape a culture of Winning Teams.

      Not perfect, but okay for a start.

      Pros

      good for newbies who need a resume filler. Some flexibility for scheduling. Some managers are good. There is a good customer base - from acquisitions.

      Cons

      Way too much change for such a small organization. Some managers are unreasonable. Talent has streamed out the door since the company doesn't particularly value employees.
