Pros

Great business model for entry level hunter sales professionals. Enhances cold calling, presentation and proposal development, and client management skills. Flexible schedule benefiting motivated go getter professionals.

Cons

Prehistoric processes with lack of communication between departments, verticals, and end users (customers). Failed practices for truly assessing customer service and driving profitability has led to below average reputation in the marketplace. High turnover in all departments including sales, service, and production results in sub optimal execution of communicated business model to clients. Please automated payment process, one should not have to evaluate sold revenue over 5 platforms to verify and audit compensation. It should not be a mystery when and on what accounts a person has been paid. Seems to be a strategy to defraud compensation from employees.

Pros

Lots of great people at the local level. Great sales training. Most of the great perks have been done away with - contest trips, sales excellence spiffs, free dry cleaning.

Cons

This company is a microcosm of the American economy - the senior leaders are siphoning off tons of cash and putting pressure on all the people at the street level to produce more and expect less. That pressure causes local leaders into tight spaces where they have to choose between making ethical decisions and keeping their jobs. Quality exists only as a word in the sales brochures. Trust is nonexistent. Salespeople are treated as an inconvenient necessity. Constant battles between Sales, Service, Production, and Finance.

Pros

Highest Commission Pay for Route Sales Representatives in the Industry.

Cons

Unethical. Charge Customers for Product and Services the Customer never receives. Charge Customers for EasyCare Maintenance of Uniforms weekly, but rarely change garments out. Charge Customers Damage/Ruin charges for Garments that are 3,5,7 years old... Customers WILL receive 3-5 Price Increases per Year due to Management not being able to Manage the Business, so they put it on the backs of Customers. When Diesel Prices and Natural Gas prices go up Aramark increases Customers' Service Charge, but when it lowers, the Service Charge WILL NEVER be adjusted...
