Pros

The culture feels like a start up so there is a lot of opportunity on your team plus cross functional projects. Also 100% WFH, and decent benefits as well as a good amount of paid holidays. They switched to unlimited PTO as well. There are awesome people here and the product / company seems it has been on the verge of being great for quite some time.

Cons

Lots of turnover at all positions which is holding up the product from getting better. Clients are frustrated. Seemed like the roadmap was constantly changing. Another big issue is that it seems there is no salary structure at all, and not great training for new employees.

Pros

401k and unlimited PTO. I love my immediate team, they will be hard to leave.

Cons

Not sur where to start as I have never written one of these before but I can't stay quiet after what i keep learning. I just hope that they can't find me out or they may retaliate. Toxic culture is driving good leaders and people away fast and in large numbers. Found out last week that our 2nd executive (CMO) resigned and is leaving, our other one (CTO) left in November. I did not get to interact directly with the CTO but did with the CMO who was our first female exec and was great to work with, as is her team. Also found out that 6 women leaders have resigned or are leaving between Nov-Dec. Big red flag. DEI is non-existent and not talked about, no empathy just working people into the ground, and lots more issues. I love my team members, which has helped me hang on this long, but with so many good people leaving, esp. leaders, I don't see the point in staying. There are too many other good companies out there. I wish I could just quit but need to find a new job to support my family - hopefully that will happen soon. Stay away!

Thank you for your post about our Company. We take your comments very seriously and while most of your concerns will be of focus in our rebuttal, others will not be due to company policy of confidential matters. First, we are extremely concern about the perception of women in leadership positions separating from Arcoro. Speaking to that directly; factually there happens to be an equal amount of male and female separations from our company, (including leadership positions). Separations from Arcoro are due to several reasons, but most notable, and as being continuously reported in the news; Covid-19 has prompted more than 33% of employees in the US to change careers/ jobs and rethink their professional life plan as a whole. Many companies are struggling to maintain and hire employees because the job market is exceptionally vibrant. Arcoro is no exception to this trend and we are focused on retaining top talent. In addition, new leadership was recently brought in to meet specific company goals. This means change must occur, and for some change is hard and at times very difficult to accept. Change can also make employees feel nervous and often frustrated. The leadership at Arcoro understands this and will continue to do everything in our power to ease the frustration. In the last few months, we’ve increased our headcount significantly to address the heavy workload you wrote about and ensure a healthier work life balance, with additional hiring on the way. We are confident that once additional hiring is complete and everyone is properly trained, our current staff will feel the ease and the amazing Arcoro culture can resume with pride. As you mentioned, we’ve also recently changed a few policies e.g., accrued PTO to unlimited paid time off, adjustments to our paygrades and regarding DEI, just re-launched the DEI committee. Invitations to join the group started in November and while diversity is equally important to you and the Company, we sincerely hope you’ll join the committee because we need employees with your level of passion to be successful, (sign-up via the HR portal). There are so many new changes on the way that we strongly believe will not only address your thoughts and concerns but equally important, provide you with a better understanding of how we are on the verge of an incredible employer of choice. We also encourage you to meet with the leadership team. We’d like to have a candidate conversation with you and possibly others in hopes that you will not seek new employment but instead be a part of the solution. In closing, we value your opinion and are very grateful for your post. It’s will undoubtedly make us stronger and better.

Pros

There is a lot of very enthusiastic and genuinely caring people that work here. Coworkers are compassionate and from my experience try to help each other out when able.

Cons

Absolutely none of my "training" (which took months) included anything that I actually would do. It was all customer facing. The managers were aware of this and simply said they were working on it. I also was told there was open pto and told of a fun work environment. I've been nickled and dimed over 5-10 min increments. Only "allowed" 2 10 min breaks a day and an either half hour or hour lunch. Those are not included in the work day though, so the time you are scheduled to work(even though I'm salary) is extended by those breaks.
