Pros
Job security. I've seen people at Argo, for the entire year I've worked there, sit on there ass and do nothing but play flash games and watch youtube all day, yet they still are working for the company. I worked for Argo part time after I resigned. I have to give them credit here because not many companies will allow you to work for them and another employer at the same time. So there is some flexibility.
Cons
Pretty much everything outside of job security. Argo is always hiring, but that is only because people are always quitting. The funny part is they always want to brag about how the company is hiring during tough economic times, LOL. Close to 30 people quit there in 2010. I know because I kept a tab on all the people who quit. One intern even quit without calling and giving a notice. Career growth doesn't exist there. You specialize in the company's proprietary language, and if you decide to leave the company, you will be an obsolete engineer, BA, manager, or whatever you chose to work there as. I actually tried to return to argo because I needed the job security(My current job lacks it). I had plans to return to grad school, and UTD is up the street from the company. It seem like they were going to let me back on, but out of the blue, they killed all my account privileges and access to the building without even telling me my services were no longer needed. They never even gave me a final day for my part time opportunity. They just booted me out of the building. So much for professionalism.
