      Pros

      Stocked kitchen with snacks. Good facilities. Friday snacks and beer bash.

      Cons

      Arista Networks has a flawed culture; The culture is favoritism, and nepotism. Most high performing employees leave within a year or once their stocks vest. HR is inefficient and is not very helpful, almost non-existent. Employees on a visa are talked down to. People here are unhappy. Compensation is lower than industry standard. Retention is only when people threaten to leave. There is no fair yearly review process in place. Accept a position with this company ONLY if you have no other options, otherwise, run the other way.

      A company that can become a great company in Bangalore by improving the work culuture

      Pros

      Great Software team. Maybe culture of taking attendance is local to Bangalore and US management can fix it.

      Cons

      Perhaps the only company in Bangalore that takes attendance and records your time of arrival. Even some of services companies which are notorious for bad work culture don't make you sign a register. You are fooling no one by claiming that labour laws in India mandates it. Lot of India specific policies to discourage people from working from home. People are tolerating it since stock benefit is great for the people who joined till around 2012.

      Pros

      1. Smart, hard working colleagues 2. Decent amount of stock 3. 20 day PTO irrespective of when one joined the company 4. Office in SF 5. Very flexible with working from home and SF office 6. Very good internal tools and infrastructure 7. Code base is properly organized

      Cons

      1. Very less innovation. You will just implement cisco or juniper features day in and day out. 2. Low salary 3. No bonus or 401k contribution or any other perks you can think of 4. Less than decent health insurance. Very bad dental insurance. 5. If you are an immigrant then forget about your green card. I heard there are people who have been working here for > 2 years still yet to file labor. Company says they will file but keep postponing with one reason or other. 6. Growth is slowing down with very few people interested in joining the company 7. All the bets are on going public which only time will tell Overall you will like it here if you are a networking guy and dont have any other place to work other than Cisco, Juniper, F10 etc.
