Cons

Lowest compensation possible 'A beggars wages' if you are not in engineering, barely afford living in Bay Area CEO reducing all benefits and constant re-negotiation of your incentives No performance based incentives

Pros

We sold the product based on Quality, Quality and Quality. That is still there with outstanding TAC service. There is a reason Arista is number one in Datacenter market share. Strong product portfolio.

Cons

Unfortunately, the culture that Arista was built on is eroding fast due to hiring outside Mid-Level Directors/Managers that have archaic methodologies and tactics. You are given nothing at Arista so if you are considering a position, you will get an account list of White Space prospects. With lead times being 3-9 Months, be prepared to sell nothing for at least 2-3 years. Then your prospects that you were working on will be taken from you at any given time for no reason. There is a constant shuffling of accounts so you can get no firm footing. If by chance you close a deal, they can make the account "mature" without notice which reduces your commission by 80%. There is no rules and no protection for the employee. Beware, mgmt can and will take accounts from you for no reason. Your boss also is an individual contributor which is a bit sketchy.
