Good product in Untangle firewalls.

Cons

When merged into Arista SMB nobody from Arista Senior Management listened to the Untangle customers and employees and assessed what was working and what was not working. This left our customers in the dark and feeling like they were not being heard.

The product quality is exceptional and the engineering resources are very competent and great to work with.

Cons

Culture is hostile; the whip is constantly cracked. As upper mgmt. applies pressure it rolls down hill and there is little to no assistance to accomplish the objectives. Everything is run off of archiach spreadsheets and disparate systems that have no integration or awareness of one another. The partners willingness to engage varies greatly region to region. If you're lucky your predecessors haven't burnt all the bridges, otherwise good luck gaining trust.
