- People at Arista believe in making software engineers really effective by developing tools that make day to day job easier. - During technical discussion everyones opinion is important - Managers are software engineers themselves which means no crazy deadlines. - Quality and testing are of great importance - Work on interesting features and play a active role in designing them - Senior people are very helpful in reviewing design

Cons

Facilities in Bangalore office are not at par compared to other companies in the same domain. Hopefully it will improve as we continue to grow.

- Space age tools and infrastructure - Very smart colleagues, a lot of whom are from a strong academic background (read lots of Phds) - Very open culture. - Superbly architected software. - To be hired, you have to not only be good at what you do, but you have to be a nice person. Once you're hired, being nice and helping your co-workers solve problems is almost explicitly incentivized. - All in all, this is a really nice place to work.

Cons

For a pre-IPO company that has top talent and (I believe) will go from strength to strength, the workplace and perks are a bit spartan.

Arista has a very open culture. Everyone is accessible. Relatively Flat organization with no unnecessary upper management. Heavily focus on engineering. Smart and intelligent colleagues. Last not the least we have free beer bash on friday evenings !!

Cons

Market is extremely competitive and have to always run twice as faster than the competition.
