Pros

They really work hard to make sure that you have the training and help that you need to do your job. They have so many resources to use and are very willing to give you feedback and help. They really care about their clients and emplyee's. You will get to have the pleasure of working with wonderful families and children. The smiles are never ending and it's fun to problem solve new and creative ways to overcome challenges.

Cons

You will need to be self motivated since when you are working with your clients it is just you and them. You will not have the benefit of having co-workers. You will also need to make sure to be on top of your time sheets and both email and mail/walk them in on time.

Thank you so much for this feedback. We're so glad you enjoy your work with our amazing families and children! We know that the role you're in is definitely autonomous, and are always thinking about new ways to help field staff such as yourself connect with other employees. Our awesome new IT Director is looking at new technology to help us better collect times sheets... and make us more efficient and successful overall. We're excited to start implementing great things by 2019!

Pros

I’ve worked here for over 3 years and have loved all of it! My families have been amazing, the office staff has been incredibly helpful, and the clinical/assistant clinical supervisors have gone above and beyond to help whenever and however they can. This job helped get me into grad school to pursue my dream career and they offer training and one-on-one assistance that other companies don’t offer.

Cons

Lots of driving (which is a given, considering you are working in home) For kiddos who have aged out of the early childhood program, I wish there was a way to still have specific programs in place for them created by AZA with supervision and monthly meetings, just like the early childhood programs.

Thank you for your review and your feedback! We're so glad you love it here, and appreciate your acknowledgement of all the support we've put in place for our Providers. Your advice is great... as we continue to grow the organization and expand locations, we'll be looking at other services we can add to create a truly integrated experience for our clients and families - stay tuned!

Pros

There is the innate reqard of helping to teach life skills to special kids. For this company specifically there is also the added benefit of great coworkers, from the top all the way down. Every person within my company I have worked with have all been passionate and caring. Continued career training. Pay is somewhat comparable to other companies with the same positions. The hours are flexible, since each families needs are different.

Cons

Occasionally there can be issues with clients or clients family (not unique to the company). What is unique is the lower pay and long hiring process (myself and 2 friends I tried to get to work for the company all took over 3 months to get all the certifications, which you pay for yourself). Time sheets can be challanging since it is required to either mail or hand deliver (to Phoenix), before a certain date which can mean advanced planning if you dont see certain clients often.

Thank you for your great service and long tenure with us. Passionate and caring people are what AZA is all about, at every level! I'm happy to report that we've made great changes to our hiring process this year, and not only does it take much less time, but AZA offers free certification trainings on site to eliminate costs and add convenience.
