Cutthroat

Pros

Somewhat stable work, good pay, good benefits

Cons

Very cut throat company. Started off as they always do, ‘we’re a family, we care about you bs’. That changed in no time I guess it’s the nature of corporations in North America. I guess it’s not any better or worse than other companies these days, their all so bad.

Thank you for leaving a review. We’re happy to hear that our flexible hours and your team members have positively contributed to your time at Article. On transparency and communication - we've been working hard to address these concerns, as you’ve recently seen in an increase in All-Hands meetings and frequent, transparent update emails to the organization directly from Aamir, our CEO. For Article to truly be successful and live to its fullest potential, we need all Particles to have an Ownership Mindset, where everyone shares the specifics directly with their managers in their 1:1s on how we can improve. If that is not received, then escalate to their function leader or Senior Leadership Team (SLT) member. We can only get better together. - Carlyn

Good company very poorly managed

Pros

Young energetic company with good culture and great people

Cons

Focusing more on generating project on spreadsheet than fixing problems on the field Great presentation but low in execution Need a proper review on particles’ competencies before placing them to be in charge of any tasks. Action needs to speak louder than words. Lots of misplacement especially on field operation in Asia. If you are new to the business, try to get information. Tend to move problems around and do not try to fix it when it happens. The word “partnership” has been said multiple times when we needed help from partners. Last, “people & culture” team in Asia office should be reviewed. Never experienced such chaos in my years and years of working.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. Coming out of this period of rapid international growth represented its own challenges, that we are quickly addressing as we revisit our priorities. It is critical that we refocus and action upon any areas of inefficiency or opportunities for better partnership moving forward. We are reviewing team competencies and identifying what is necessary for us to achieve our goals. We’re regularly checking in with our teams through frequent 1 on 1s, our All-Hands meetings, Employee Engagement Surveys and bi-annual reviews and encourage feedback to your manager and P&C Team member on how we can continue to improve our Particles’ experience. - Sonia Serizawa, Senior Manager, People and Culture Business Partnership
