Pros

Great opportunity to make a lot of money, decent sales culture, good way to kickstart your career.

Cons

Extremely unstable culture, with the holding company split that created Ascendion they cut commission structures. Management/executives cover up a lot of wrong doing at a high-level. They don't have a great value proposition. People are leaving at a high rate within the past few months.

Pros

Monthly happy hours, other AAMs in the same boat as you. Don’t expect you to stay more than a year because retention is so bad they’re used to people leaving as soon as they can secure a company that doesn’t have active lawsuits against it

Cons

Absolute insane metrics 500 cold calls a day, 15 meetings off and set a week No formal trainings or true answers to your questions about service offerings. They combat questions with answers of “examples” we’ve done but all examples are either in beta stages, or were done through staffing when we were collabera. This job is selling staffing without being allowed to say the word staffing and being paid less than a livable wage

We truly regret that you had a negative experience. We value all of our Ascenders and our sales comp model, offerings, and training continue to evolve with the market. It is of note that over 1/3 of our Ascenders attain pay well into and mid-six figures and above, but like all sales roles, require clients to buy our offerings. It is also of note that training is often done by a combination of role plays, call sit-ins, and more formal methods. We are sorry things didn’t work out, is there anything we can still help you out with? If so, please feel free to write to letstalk@ascendion.com and we will connect with you within 24hrs of receiving your email.

Pros

Close distance, cool vision but it makes you question your value.

Cons

Racist managers and HR staff, they don’t care when you bring things to their attention. I was sexually harassed and groped on the job and they asked me what I did.
