Grew too Fast

Pros

Benefits (aside from health insurance) are pretty great. Up to 16 weeks maternity leave, fertility treatment assistance, mental health resources, and more. Truly a hybrid role, only having to go into the office min 1 day a week.

Cons

The company grew exponentially in the past 5 years and management couldn’t keep up. People are overworked asking questions of how to navigate and not getting clear direction. They laid off nearly a whole team only to have similar roles posted for hiring shortly after. Why not just realign roles?

Pros

Remote work is available for most or all days per week

Cons

When calculating pay, Ascensus will include their contribution to your health insurance, your PTO, and other benefits. Your true pay will be much, much less than they tell you it is. It's so low, I qualify for Medicaid.
