Low pay, no job stability, and constant layoffs

Pros

-Snacks & catered lunch -WFH -Unlimited PTO -Supportive coworkers who help you make it through the day

Cons

Pay is low and not competitive by SF standards. Throughout the past several months the company has laid off a high number employees only to repost new jobs with different titles and the exact same responsibilities. All hands meetings can get bizzare. CEO once went on a long rant about how certain teams were disappointing him and negatively impacting the company without giving any specifics as to what he was upset about, let alone an action plan. There is also a lack of transparency when it comes to growth opportunities. It seems the same people continue to get promoted while those others have a carrot dangled in front of them (yet never receive critical feedback when meeting with their supervisors). The company would rather hire externally than promote from within.

Pros

Smart people who are passionate about our company and want to see it succeed. The culture is very empathetic, and I spend a lot of time laughing and enjoying the company of my coworkers. The Leadership team is very approachable and always open to feedback. Open office environments, amazing health insurance, catered lunches, snacks, wellness stipend, unlimited PTO, WFH, dog friendly office, education reimbursements... everything you would expect from a startup in SF. 2020 is the year of growth for AspireIQ and I can already see how it's shifted from last year. Founders are taking our feedback and implementing new strategies. The workload can be a lot sometimes, but it's worth the challenge and I feel like I am growing and creating a path for myself here. Endless opportunity!

Cons

No major cons, the only minor thing would be more written internal communication. It would be nice if there was a recap on important meetings if we miss them since they are not recorded, like all hands.
