Pros

It's an overall good company and on the uptrend, get experience working in healthcare technology, you will get to learn a lot and it will help you for your next move. Good opportunities for job growth if you stick to it and have leadership potential. The CEO isn't technical but most people don't understand that his industry connections have helped the company achieve the growth seen today.

Cons

For developers don't take this job for the proposed culture fit as most of it is not representative of what actually happens. However, if you've come from a toxic environment, this is probably slightly better just still chaotic. The positive reviews on this site should be ignored, most of them come from management.

Pros

They have created a life saving product, awesome co-workers, beer cart fridays.

Cons

Assistrx is owned by two millionaires that have very little knowledge of how the technical side of their business is run, they've delegated that task to fear mongers who manage with an iron fist. There's nothing worse than a person with absolute power who was probably bullied as a child, they make rash decisions based on emotion not fact. They're day consist of meetings and drawing pretty graphs while stress out the people that are really working. The owners either don't know or don't care, either way they should consider experienced leadership.

Pros

- Free Snacks and Sodas - Decent benefits - The assistant fund (A Non-profit company) works closely with this group providing help to those couldn't afford life saving medication otherwise due to financial costs.

Cons

- All or (Most) positive reviews on Glassdoor were created by Managers who are just trying to help inflate their numbers for employee recruitment - They make you work weekends if you fall behind on work load due to any unforeseen circumstances. (Especially Developers, QA, DBA teams) - Extremely High Turnover Rate - Demanding work environment with little to no flexibility
