Small company, although this ended up being a con for me.
Cons
There a lot of "leaders" in upper management, but the right hand does not talk to the left hand -- and when it does, it doesn't agree, leaving the community feeling like a child in the middle of a fight between parents. There is definitely a feeling that you have to be friends with upper management to advance. Several members of the corporate team are incredibly unprofessional, dramatic, and chaotic. They constantly preach that they are "nothing like Brookdale"; however, out of every long-term care company I have worked for, Atlas micromanaged the most, cared the most about the bottom line at the expense of staff and residents, and required the most constant, unnecessary communication.
