Pros

- remote, decent comp & benefits

Cons

- APEX. everything revolves around the bi-annual stack ranking performance reviews. If you want to 'succeed' at Atlassian you're gonna spend all of your time chasing ridiculous personal metrics for the performance review (e.g. PR count) instead of trying to solve real problems - The culture has become actively hostile as a result of APEX. every man for himself - Rampant micromanagement, getting pulled into 1:1s with manager to explain exactly why some task took a day or 2 longer than estimated - Layoffs every few months

Pros

- Work Remotely (Still Untill the new CTO manages to remove it) -Perks are good - 20 weeks parental leave , nice offices with lunch and breakfast , some allowances - reasonable pay

Cons

been going downhill from people prespective, stack ranking and like meta putting 10+ % of staff on PIP every 6 month few rounds of layoff no trust promoting the culture of competition Vs collaboration becoming extremely political no career growth opportunity any more almost 0 jobsecurity
