Pros

- Team members are generally talented and well meaning. - Okay pay. - Decent benefits. - Work from home

Cons

- The work culture is reactive, chaotic, and disjointed with undertones of toxicity. - Narrative that things are going the right direction, but the company culture, employee workloads and stress levels don't reflect this. - There have been multiple high-performing employees who were given a brand new position created specially for them only to have their position cut and be laid off. You can't trust management. - Very poor work environment for your mental health. - Burnout is common, yet expectations for performance and personal development remain very high. - Stretching resources too thin is normal. - Workload constantly increasing which makes it difficult to ever stabilize.

Pros

Some decent people, WFH policy.

Cons

The degree of micromanagement at the executive level is overly intrusive. Despite recruiting top-tier talent, their input is frequently overridden rather than valued. This approach is likely contributing to the company's lack of a coherent vision and its ongoing challenges. I witnessed multiple instances of character defamation, alarmingly even within meetings where C-level executives and HR were present. This behavior raises serious concerns about the organizational culture. Moreover, the arrogance displayed by leadership, particularly their repeated claims of being a leading Microsoft partner, is quite overlown. It appears that these assertions have been made so frequently that they have begun to accept them as fact.

Fun and productive place to work

Pros

We do lots of critically important things for our clients. We manage infrastructure for some really big companies and they rely on us to be good at what we do. There are lots of hallway conversations and quick problem solving sessions as we make good on our commitment to clients. The people here are great. Management is management and pushes hard and while that is unpleasant at times, I do see where they are headed. The CEO is very approachable and encourages questions so whenever I see something that I don't understand I always go to him and ask. So far, he's always told me what he was thinking and helped me to understand some things that weren't obvious. Kinda cool to be able to talk to a CEO like that.

Cons

There has been quite an shake up in Finance and Accounting with a few key people leaving and sometimes it seems like we're not getting training on some of the new tools.

Thank you for the comments and yes, always feel free (and I'm glad you do) to email, come over, or reach out with questions, comments, or concerns. Live feedback with context, pointing out of improvements that need to happen with ideas on what we should do, questions of all sorts, or just general conversation to make a stronger connection... I'm up for it all. 2018 was a year focused on some pretty big internal improvements (core network upgrade/SDN, storage/vCenter consolidations, ticketing/portal, etc.)... 2019 will be focused on teams/culture and strategic projects that have tangible customer impacts. Enhanced training on tools, consolidation of tools, etc. is within the road map this year. I'm pretty excited with the impacts we'll make this year. Thank you again.
