Pros

I don’t have anything to put here.

Cons

Will raise the pay rate for those with no education but do not give the same increase across the board for those who have an education and continue to further their learning. Why even get a degree and have student debt when you can scrub toilets for the same rate of pay

Atrium Health - Urgent Care

Recommend
CEO approval
Business Outlook

Pros

I was a rad/lab tech at an Atrium urgent care. The radiologic technologist is not only responsible for all X-rays and radiation safety, you are also responsible for maintaining the lab. It gets kind of overwhelming at times. Although I made life long friends doing this job, I do not miss it.

Cons

Managing a lab (weekly/daily QA, CLIA inspections, running lab tests) while also doing radiology exams and medical assistant duties, poor PTO policy. Pay is not adequate for what you are responsible for.
