Pros

Access to technology and employee friendly policies. Great reputation for providing excellent patient care. Children's Hospital is excellent, it serves patients from around the Southeast United States and beyond.

Cons

Salaries and benefits are mediocre. This is a direct result of declining healthcare reimbursement from the State and CMS. The pension plan has been discontinued for new employees in 2014.

A growing company, one of the best in the industry. Innovation is a primary focus. Job stability has been very good so far.

Cons

Pay for cross-industry skills will be less that with other for-profit companies and industries. Health care industry is in a state of flux. Hard to know what will happen in the future.
