      Pros

      Salary is generous, they profess to have the right values as far as supporting work life balance, developing internally, etc.

      Cons

      Internal organizations are at odds with one another rather than partnering with one another. Fractious behavior between groups who seem to be jockeying for position rather than helping the organization improve as a whole. Benefits, other than salary, are stingy - particularly healthcare and time off policies.

      Pros

      Flexible hours, telecommute, decent healthcare if you use CMC physicians. If you want to come in and do your daily tasks and then go home, you can comfortably do that here for 40 years, with your 2% annual increase and total job security.

      Cons

      Pay is low for non-clinical positions, IT training is hard to come by, management is uninformed on most things, using non-CMC healthcare will cost you. If you are looking for a career with growth potential, you'll be hard pressed to find it in IT - though they re-org every year just for the sake of change, the rate of promotion is sorely lacking.

      The 'system' provides good compesation and remains out of medicine

      Cons

      too numbers driven and medical directors are just part of management not truly a physican led organization
