      30 years with CHS

      Pros

      Good co-workers, friendly work environment, honest, cutting edge. Had worked here for 30 years since I could not beat the benefits.. but next year that changes.

      Cons

      USED to have excellent benefits, next year extremely poor health insurance coverage. If you are young and healthy an OK option but starting next year 2016 CHS will join the culture of death. If you are not well, then you will need to chose death as you will not be able to afford to be sick and seek treatment, unless of course you are top management.

      Pros

      The entry level staff is great.

      Cons

      All about profits though the company advertises itself as a nonprofit organization. Health insurance is going to a 70/30 plan in 2016 because they claim they are going to be taxed too heavily to continue with an 80/30 plan which is outrageous!! Have terminated many wonderful MDs because they refuse to put profits before patient care. The focus of the company is on profits not on patients - how sad!!

      Pros

      Strong clinical staff. Most coworkers are pleasant to work with. Enjoyable and fast paced for those who are adrenaline junkies, this is the place.

      Cons

      Staff is only valued for what they can offer, once that begins to decrease regardless of the reason or the amount of time that has been given to the company, they are quick to turn their collective back on the individual. Benefits that once were commendable, now are terrible and will be worse next year.
